May Favorites

Hey Everyone! I know this is about a week late because I was suppose to  post this at the end of May, but here are my May Favorites! These are just some of my favorite items this month that I've been wearing, using, reading, and listening to. Be sure to comment on what your May Favorites are, so I can try them out!

The first thing on my May Favorites list is the eos lip balm. Okay. To be honest, the first few times I applied  it, I thought it was horrible! I wondered why so many beauty gurus had collections and collections of it. It didn't even moisturize my lips! But, after I started using it more often, I realized that it was actually pretty good. The reason why it didn't seem to work at first, was because I would only use it like twice a day, but now I apply it often, and  think it's a great moisturizer. It smells yummy too! (You can find eos lip balms at any drugstores or Ulta.)

I'd seen this nail polish color on so many people for so long, but the problem was, I had know idea what the name of it was or where I could find it. Then, one day I was watching one of MacBarbie07's  videos, and she'd bought the same exact color I've been looking for! It's called mint candy apple. I was so excited that I'd finally found it. A week later, my Mom and I were walking through Walgreens, and I saw a whole collection of Essie nail polish , including the mint candy apple one, on one of the shelves! So, my Mom bought it for me, and I was sooo excited to use it. At first, I was a bit skeptical of this tiny bottle of nail polish, which by the way, cost $8! I didn't know if I wanted to buy such a small bottle for that price. But now, I think it was definitely worth it! Unlike other nail polish brands, Essie doesn't need a clear top coat for it to look shiny and professional. I would definitely buy it again! (sold at Walgreens, Target, and Ulta-These are the only places that I know where Essie nail polish is sold.)

My Toms were wearing out, and the pair of fake converse I'd gotten in 7th grade were getting too small. Those were really, the only sneakers I had, so I needed a pair of comfortable shoes that I could walk around in without having to worry about my big toe ripping through the front of the shoe, or my feet aching! I needed a pair of cool sneakers. ASAP. I wanted a pair of Keds. However, I don't know about your parents, but my parents don't just hop up and take me to mall when I say I want a $60 pair of sneakers. My sisters and I would have to plead with them for at least a month in advance! So, when I saw that Target had the fake ones for only $15, I couldn't pass it up! Plus, they're almost identical to the real Keds.

I used to watch Elle and Blair Fowler's beauty videos on YouTube, but I didn't even know they wrote a book until like two months ago. I'm still on chapter 13, but I think it's pretty good so far. My Mom has already read the whole book, and she thought it was pretty good too. I like how it's kind of based on their rise to fame, with their beauty videos and their makeup line.

This song!!! Sometimes I dance around the house singing this song. It's just such a fun song, and it's not really about love or breakups like most of her other songs. This song is just abut being young and having fun!!!

At first, I wasn't so sure about  buying disposable razors by the same brand as the pens we buy for schools, but these razors are actually really good. (And I know, a brand can make more than one specific product!)  I don't know how, but they don't cut you and make you bleed as easily as other razors do. They come in bright, pretty colors, and they're also very inexpensive.

So, those are my May Favorites! I hope you enjoyed it! Be sure to comment on what your May Favorites are, so I can try them out too!!!
