August Favorites

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday!!!!!!! How was your week? I actually only had four days of school tis week because of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, so the week seemed to go by fairly quickly. So, I know I'm about 6 days late, but it's time for August Favorites! I'm also starting a new series called These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things! I'm basically going to be talking about different movies, shows, etc. that I've been enjoying.These don't necessarily have to be new things, but it's just things that I like, and new things that may be similar to it. (But don't get this new series confused with monthly favorites!) So let's get started with August Favorites!

 

P.S. I didn't do the categories in order(beauty, entertainment, and random), so they're kind of scattered around.  

 

 

1. The first favorite is in the random category. It is the September issue of Seventeen magazine.  I actually don't have the same cover as the magazine pictured above(she's wearing a different outfit on my cover), but it's still the same thing. I really like Lily Collins(and her eyebrows!), and I hadn't started getting Seventeen magazine monthly when she was on the cover last year, so I wanted to read about her life and career.

2. The next favorite is entertainment. It's a song called Gold by Victoria Justice. This was the first Victoria Justice song I'd heard that wasn't from Victorious. It's basically like her breakout album, and I really like this song.

3. Entertainment- Because I didn't go and watch any movies this month, I decided to pick two songs. Brave by Sara Bareilles was actually my first pick, but, the categories are scattered around. But, I really like this song. The explanation is basically in the name, Brave, but if you haven't heard, you need to listen to it!

4. Entertainment- So recently, I've really been liking Pet Peeve videos on YouTube, but my favortie ones would probably have to be thisissmileyandshell's(pictured above) pet peeve videos. She made one last year, and one last month. I think they're so funny, and she's also a really cool YouTuber that isn't as famous as others, so you should check out her videos.They're really good!

5. Random- Going back to random, McFlurrys!!!!!!!!When I was younger and lived in England, my Mom, my big sister, and I would take a train to McDonalds, and order McFlurrys. I completely forgot how good they are. This past month, I've had two McFlurrys...and I want one right now!(Well, it's past 11, so I guess that's not an option.) But, they're sooooooo yummy!!!

6. Random-This is probably one of my favorite backpacks. I just really like the tie dye design, and how durable it is. 
 

The next three favorites are in the beauty category.
1. The first beauty favorite is my Sky Rise Lengthening Mascara by New York Color. It gives  a really casual, but nice lengthening, but not too extravagant.

2. The next beauty favorite is myApplelicious Glossy Balm also by New York Color. This is in the shade Pink Lady, and it's kind of like a faded pink. I really like how there's an apple in the middle of the gloss, and I kind of don't want to mess it up! It also smells so good!

 

 

3. The third beauty favorite is the Isoplus Hot Hot Hot Curler(it can also be used for straightening) Thermal Spray. It's a really good heat protector, and I really like it.
