Hey Everyone! What do most people say when you ask them what" their New Years Resolution is? "I'm going to start eating healthier!" "I'm going to exercise everyday!" "I'm going to be healthy!" Well, Day 1 goes pretty well, maybe even Day 2, but by Day 3, what New Year's Resolution?
I think the problem with New Year's Resolutions is that it kind of puts pressure on you to be a better person, and eventually, people just give up because it's too intimidating.
A lot of people say "Don't think of it as a resolution, of it as a lifestyle." I kind of agree with that, but I kind of don't, because you have to get used to it before it can become a lifestyle. So here are 5 steps to a healthier you!
1. Take something that you really like to do, like dancing or playing sports, and turn it into your daily form of exercise. |
3. Instead of dieting, just eat healthier foods. Eating healthier is way better than dieting because you're not starving yourself, you're just eating foods that are good for you. |
4. Fruits and Vegetables- One of the steps to a healthier you would have to be eating fruits and veggies! An apple a day keeps the doctor away! |
Eating veggies is also a must when trying to be healthier. |
