Hey Everyone! How is your Saturday going? So, I have a confession: I've been sitting in my room watching YouTube videos basically all day. I know I say that most Saturdays, that's all I do, but I usually mix it in with Twitter and Instagram and T.V, but today, it was mostly YouTube! I did watch a little bit of the World Cup, and then I watched t.v with my Mom later on. I also went on Instagram for like 5 minutes, but the rest of my day has been spent on YouTube. Guilty.
Anyway, I don't think I've done one of these posts for like 2 months I think. I haven't done it for a while because I've been doing different posts for the end of the school year and for summer and whatnot, so I kind of forgot about it.
So, today I'm going to be talking about my fear of turning 18.
If you've read some of my previous posts, you know that my birthday was this past Wednesday. I turned 18!!!!!!! At first, I was so anxious about turning 18. The day before my birthday, I practically went into panic mode. To make me panic even more, my older sister insists that once you turn 18, you're an adult. My whole family has tried telling her over and over, but ever since she turned 18, she's thought that she's an adult. My Mom kept telling me to stop worrying, and that I'm still a teenager. When you turn 18, people don't think of you as a kid anymore. The reason my sister thinks that she's an adult is because she's the type of person who wants to be an adult, so I guess she wants to make it so before it actually is. But, I'm not like that. I still feel like a kid, my age just went up, that's all. I think everyone can have this mindset, whether you're 18 or 80. So those are just my words of wisdom for you! But anyway, I had a great 18th Birthday. I just chilled with the Fam-a-lam (family!), then we went out to eat. I might post some pics here on my blog, but you can check them out on my Twitter and Instagram @itunu_aro!
P.S: I'm thinking about doing different kinds of "Itunu's Views" posts each month, so sometimes, I'll just talk about some current events like pop culture or an experience that I've had, and sometimes, I'll answer some of your questions. So, if you want to ask me a question, comment below or tweet me your questions. If you ask me a question on Twitter, I won't answer it until I do a Q&A (the end of next month, maybe), but I'll retweet you to let you know that I got your question, so ask away! If you comment below, I'll reply with a smiley face or something!
