Monthly Faves: May 2014

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday!!!!!! Okay, I'm pretty sure that everyone should be out of school by now. If you're not, then you better be going back like way in October. I'm just kidding!
I know I'm really late, and I think I was late for last month's favorites too, but here are my Monthly Faves. (P.S. I changed the name from (insert Month here) Favorites to Monthly Faves, so don't worry, it's the same favorites post that I do every month!)

Most of my favorites for this month are music favorites because I've just been looking for new songs to listen to, and I found quite a few good ones! But I also have 2 beauty favorites and 2 random favorites (the second one isn't pictures here), so let's just get started!

Beauty
1. Vidal Sassoon Extra Firm Hold Mousse: My sister has used this mousse on my hair a couple of times-first, for my graduation, and secondly, when I got tired of having straight hair last week. I really like this mousse because it definitely fits with the name when it says extra firm hold. The only thing I don't like about it is how crunchy and stale it makes my hair feel. I haven't find a mousse that doesn't do that yet, but if you know of a mousse that can actually leave hair feeling smooth and soft, please let me know!

2. NYC Sky Rise Lengthening Mascara: I've talked about this before in one of my favorites post last year, but I didn't have much appreciation for this mascara until a couple months ago when I started using a new one. The new one that I got was for curling eyelashes, and I don't know why I got it because I didn't really want a mascara that curls my eyelashes (I'm not saying that it's a bad mascara. It's great if you want your eyelashes to be curled.). I was more focused on one that lengthened my lashes, and this NYC mascara is great for that!Next up, I'm looking for a mascara that both lengthens and adds volume to my eyelashes!

Random
1. Bible Promises-Graduates: This is one of the things that all of the graduates at my church got when we had Graduation Sunday a few weeks ago. It's a book of verses and inspirational quotes to encourage you as you approach the next stages of your life (that sounded really professional!). I would definitely recommend it for anyone who has just graduated from high school or college!

2. Polyvore.com: I made a Polyvore account towards the end of May, and I think that it's so fun just putting together outfits. You can also put together sets other than outfits. They have furniture, makeup, and other different things too. A quick shout out to my little sister because she made 3 outfit sets on Polyvore today (See, 11 year olds like Polyvore too!). So, you should go and check out the cute outfits she put together here!

 Music

If you haven't heard these songs yet, you should definitely listen to them. There's a mix of all kinds of music genres in this group of songs, so take a listen!
As you probably know, I like music a lot. I listen to all kinds of music, so if you have any cool, clean music recommendations, let me know!

What are your May Favorites? Be sure to list them down below!
P.S. I want to have a Summer Giveaway soon, so comment on what you would like to see in the giveaway!
Thank You!
