Sunkissed Summer Tag

Hey Everyone! I feel like I've been asking this every time I post, but is everyone on Summer Break now? I hope you are, because tomorrow's the first day of summer!!!!!!!! I thought that I would do a tag that has become especially popular on YouTube right now, and that is the Sunkissed Summer Tag, created by itsmelexie1. 

But, before I get started on that, I wanted to tell you about my "blogger network search". Recently, I've been looking for blogging networks for bloggers like me, who blog about fashion, food, beauty, fitness, etc., because I wanted to be able to connect with different bloggers. A few weeks ago, I was looking through a blog and I found that the blogger was part of a blogger network called the Her Campus Blogger Network. When I went into the website, I thought it looked pretty interesting, so I signed up to be a part of it. 

Well, this afternoon, I got an email saying that I was officially part of the the Her Campus Blogging Network!!!!!!! I was getting so anxious because I wasn't sure how long it would take for them to look over my form, and it had already been a couple of weeks ago that I sent it, so I was really excited when I got the email!

So, anyway, let's get started with the Sunkissed Summer Tag!

1. When did/do you get out of school?

-I had like 3 half days for the last few days of school. So, technically, my last full day of school was May 15, but if you actually mean last day of school despite the length of the school day, then May 20. (May 22, if you count the day of Graduation practice!)

2. Beaches or Pools?

-It honestly depends! If it's a private pool, like a pool in my backyard (which we don't have!), then pools, but if not, then beaches.

3. Are you going on any summer vacations? If not, what's your dream summer vacation?

-We're suppose to be going to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina next month!

4. S'mores or Ice cream?

-Ice cream! I like s'mores, but it's too hot for that!

5. What's your most fun summer memory (props to Lexie for the grammatically correct sentence!)?

-My favorite summer memory would probably have to be when I was in first or second grade, and my family and I went to Tennessee!

6. Does your skin tan or burn?

-Tan, I would assume.

7. How do you wear your hair in the summer?

-There's not a lot that I can do to my hair ATM because it's so short, but when summer break first started, I wore it curly for like a week, but then I got tired of it, so I just straightened it. The thing with my hair is that the right side is so much shorter than the left side, so I have to do styles that don't make it seem so obvious.

8. Favorite summer nail polish?

-I don't have a specific favorite, but I'm just into light colors, like pastels.

9. Would you rather spend a summer day outside in the pool, or inside watching Netflix?

-Well, I don't have Netflix, but I would definitely choose being inside!

10. Sunglasses or Hats?

-I really don't know, because I don't really wear either. I don't have contacts yet, so I can't really wear sunglasses. My big sister has a bunch of cute sunglasses and they're kind of tempting me to just put on the sunglasses over my eyeglasses!

11. What's your song of the summer?

-I don't really have one specific song, maybe Sing by Ed Sheeran, or She Looks So Perfect (without that one swear word!) by 5SOS.

12. Summer Bucket List?

-There are quite a bit of things that I want to do this summer: Learning how to play the piano better, learning how to play the guitar, brushing up on my French-speaking skills, learning how to dance better, going to at least one concert, going to New York and/or California, going on a shopping spree, volunteering in some sort of way (i.e. at a nursing home, taking food to the homeless), starting a non-profit organization, 

and there's probably a lot more things that I want to do, but I just can't remember them right now.

13. Bikinis, Tankinis, or One Pieces?

-This may sound a little crazy to you I wasn't allowed to wear bikinis. My Mom had a religious viewpoint on them, but recently she said that I could start wearing them! I don't really like tankinis, because they just seem unflattering, and I'm okay with one pieces (just okay), so I'm definitely going to try out the bikini thing this summer and see if I like it!

14. What's Your Favorite thing about Summer?

-No School! And just being able to relax!
