Summer Fitness Routine

Hey Everyone! How is your Saturday going? I've basically been on my regular Saturday routine: Computer, Twitter, Instagram, repeat. But I finished out the day well by getting McDonald's...probably not the best thing to say especially for today's post!
Here's my Summer Workout Routine! Hehe...

To get all the details on this workout look, check out my Polyvore Page!

Be sure that you're wearing something comfortable, something that you can exercise in.

You probably won't be able to carry a bottle of water with you while you're running, but be sure to hydrate before and after you workout, as well as throughout the day.
If you want to listen to music while working out, then go ahead! My little sister actually said something wise about this. When you're running, it's best not to have both earplugs in, especially when you're running by yourself. Use caution.

So, here's my Summer Workout Routine!

1. I usually do jumping jacks right before I stretch. I don't know why I don't stretch before I do jumping jacks, I'm just weird like that! I try to do 5 sets of 20 jumping jacks throughout my whole workout because it's really good for your legs.

2. Next, I do 50 squats, and it's just when you squat down and jump up. When I first started doing squat jumps, it was so hard for me, but once you get used to it, it's not THAT hard (but, it is still hard!)

3. Then, I do side twists. You start off with your back leaned back and your feet slightly off the floor. Then twist to one side, and then to the next side. You can either count to 100 as you go from side to side, or you can count to 50, because going from one side to the other side equals one cycle.

4. I do the bicycle two ways: Sometimes, I straighten each leg out, but others times, I actually do the bicycle motion. I usually do 20 of these.

 5. I don't know if this is what this exercise is called, but it is backwards sit ups. You basically just rock back and forth without your head touching the ground. (It's not as easy as it sounds!) I do 20 of these.

6. After that, I do lunge jumps, which is getting into a lunge position, jumping up, and then switching to the other leg. I don't usually count how many of these I do, but it's about 10-15 cycles.

7. Lastly, I just stretch again.

Then, you're finished with the workout!

P.S. These aren't easy exercises, and you're not going to get an awesome bikini body the first time you do this workout, but keep working toward your goal, and you'll look great!
