Monthly Faves: June

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth of July! I was actually suppose to go to a potluck picnic at the park, but my little sister had been nagging my Dad for a few days because she wanted us to have a cookout...just the five of us, six including Max. My Dad hasn't used the grill in years, so I didn't think he was actually gonna agree to it. So yesterday, my Dad and I went to the store because I wanted to buy some things to take to the potluck.

On the way to the store, my Dad was telling me how my little sister wanted to have a cookout at home, and how he was willing to become a "Grill Master" for the day (not his exact words).
So, I decided not to go to the picnic because I wanted to spend time with the fam-a-lam!
It was a fun day filled with hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelons, and more than enough glasses of pink lemonade.

Anyway, today, I'm going to share my June Faves with you. Wow. It seems like I was just doing my May Favorites, but that's only because I did my May Faves like 2 or 3 weeks ago...

Beauty
NYC Nail Polish in Skyline Blue: I only have one beauty favorite this month. I really should start buying more makeup! I really like this color (of course it would be blue!) because it almost looks like Essie Mint Candy Apple, which is by far my favorite nail polish. The only difference between the two colors is that this NYC nail polish is lighter, almost like sky blue, so the name of it -Skyline Blue- fits it well!

Random
Gold Medal Winter by Donna Freitas: I've talked about this book before in my Random Post post, but it is honestly, one of the best books I've read. It's about a girl who's training to qualify for the Olympics, but I don't want to tell you anything else about it, so you can read it!

Monograms: I'm pretty sure it's all of the preppy blogs that I've been reading lately, but I've really been into monograms! I just think that it's a cool way to personalize your belongings! This font is better compared to a lot of the other ones I tried, but I still don't think it looks that pretty, so I'm gonna keep looking for the "perfect" font!

Starbucks: In one of my Itunu's Views posts I talked about how I've never been to Starbucks before, but that has changed because I finally went to Starbucks last week. I went with my Mom and my sisters on my birthday. While everyone else had frappuccinos, it was really hot that day, and I felt like having a fruity drink, so I got the Orange Mango Smoothie. It was pretty good. It had a bitter aftertaste, but it was good! We actually got 2 free drinks because they made the wrong ones for my Mom and my little sister. So, instead of 4 drinks, we went home with 6! #blessings

Entertainment

1. Cruise: Florida Georgia Line
2. Somebody to You: The Vamps
3. Across My Heart: CeeJ
4. Oceans(Where Feet May Fail): Hillsong United

Fifa World Cup 2014: An event that I've talked about quite a bit here on my blog, is the World Cup. I've been watching it here and there for the almost month that it's been on. I really want Brazil to win the whole thing, and I'm not just saying that because Neymar's down, and he was supposedly "their only hope" (praying that his injuries get better!), but I am saying that I want them to win because, the whole event is in Brazil! And Brazil dominates in soccer, so I just feel like it's fair. I'm emotional like that...

Well, those are my Monthly Faves for the month of June! I hope you enjoyed them! What are your June Faves? Be sure to tell me in the comments! And, if you liked this post, subscribe to my blog!
