10 Fun(and Cheap!) Things to do Before the End of Summer 2014

Hey Everyone! How was your Fourth of July weekend? I already told you what I did in my last post, so you can check that out if you want!
Well, as much as we don't want to admit it, for some of us, school is starting very soon (tears). But, if your summer has been kind of blah so far, don't worry! Summer 2014 isn't over just yet! So, today I'm going to give you some ideas on fun things you can do before the end of this summer. These ideas aren't that pricey either, so you get to have fun while not spending much money. It's a win-win situation!
I had intended on making this post pretty descriptive, but last night, the palm of my hand started aching really badly. It probably has to do with the fact that these past few days (excluding Sunday), I've been on the computer basically all day. I'm trying to cut back on my computer time, so this post won't be as long and descriptive as I planned. Sorry :)

P.S. I included a few of these ideas in my 14 Fun Things to do this Spring Break 2014 post back in March. You can refer back to that post for even more fun ideas!

1. Plan a barbecue/sleepover/fun party

2. Take up a new hobby. (ex. dancing, learning how to play the guitar, even knitting!)

3. Catch a movie, or if you want to be really creative, make a movie!

4. Brush up on a skill that you forgot you had. (ex. sports, a language, instruments)

5. Visit an attraction in your town that you've never been to or rarely go to. (ex. aquarium, amusement park)

6. DIYs (Hopefully, I will have a few DIYs up soon!)

7. Go to a food truck place and eat away! (The places that have food trucks lined up; I don't know what they're called!)

8. Come up with a delicious, new family recipe that will be sure to go down in your family's history!

9. Past time Activities! (bowling, skating, playing cards, karaoke!)

10. Go on a road trip! (I'll have a Road Trip Essentials post up in the next few weeks!)

  1. The first part of my summer felt like it just flew by, so I'll definitely have to use some of these ideas of things to do before school starts, like planning out some DIY projects for my dorm room! I saw that you'll be starting college in the fall like me, so I'm glad I found another college blogger to follow! :)
