Hey Everyone!!!!!!! How's your Friday going?
So, this post is going to be fairly short, because I haven't packed for the "Weekend Getaway" that I talked about in my last post.
Today, I'm going to share with you some tips and tricks that you can add to change up your summer makeup routine! I'm also going to be sharing the best makeup products to use during those hot, summer days!
1. Concealer/Cover stick: These are great for covering up any blemishes or under eye bags. If you're like me, and you don't wear that much makeup during the summer, you don't even have to use a BB Cream, just use concealer...but then again, BB Cream usually has SPF in it...
2. BB Cream: This is way better to use in the summer than foundation, and it has SPF, so disregard what I said about not having to use BB cream, unless you wear sunscreen.
3. Eyeshadow: Nude colors are so in right now! They've always been in for me, because I like to keep my eye shadow subtle because it just looks weird if I try to add blue or purple to the mix! I especially like champagne-like colors!
4. Mascara: Waterproof, 'nuf said.
5. Eyeliner: Here's a cute trick to change up your regular summer makeup routine: Ombre! Using 3 eyeliner pens of 3 different shades, create an ombre look. Line the lightest color halfway through your eyelids, then use the second lightest color through the other half. Then line the darkest color on your waterline for a cute ombre look!
6. Blush: I personally think that coral is such a fun color for blush, so that's my recommendation!
7. Lip balms: My #1 tip: make sure the lip balm/lip stain/chapstick, etc. has SPF in it. You don't want to burn your lips in the sun! Here's another trick: If you don't have blush, use your lip stain or lipstick as blush!
